Art Exhibit Featuring More Than 50 Oklahoma Artists On Display

OKLAHOMA CITY — JUNE 19 — The Oklahoma Hall of Fame (OHOF), in partnership with the Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition (OVAC), presents the 2024 OVAC Members Show, on display June 22 - September 14 in the Tulsa World | Lorton Family Gallery at the Gaylord-Pickens Museum. This exhibit features a stunning array of 2D and 3D works from more than 50 artists from across Oklahoma.
Visitors will be captivated by the wide range of mediums and the impressive talent on display. From bustling cities and small rural towns, the artists' diverse expressions tell unique stories of family, belonging, history, and more. This showcase of the vibrant artistic community in our great state will appeal to art lovers of all generations and inspire a deep sense of pride in Oklahoma’s cultural heritage.
"The OVAC Members Show is an exciting opportunity for Oklahoma artists to showcase their unique works and provide visitors with a deeper appreciation for the arts in general" said Mattie Barlow, assistant director of archives & curatorial projects and curator for the show. "The collaboration between OHOF and OVAC is a natural fit given that both organizations share a passion for promoting pride in our state."
With more than 70 works of art in a variety of mediums and price points, this exhibition is a must see for new and seasoned art collectors. The public should also save the date for the exhibit's reception, including an artist panel, to be held on August 1, 5:00-8:00 PM at the Gaylord-Pickens Museum. The reception and artist panel are free to attend, and registration is not needed.
