Oklahoma Born & Brewed Celebrates 10 Years of Beer and Giving Back

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

OKLAHOMA CITY – JULY 11 – Oklahoma Born & Brewed is celebrating 10 years! This annual fundraiser, presented by the Oklahoma Hall of Fame's young professionals board, features breweries from across the state, providing guests with a unique tasting experience "born & brewed" right here in Oklahoma. All proceeds benefit the Oklahoma Hall of Fame's free family programming, providing immersive educational and cultural experiences to thousands of Oklahomans.

Attendees to the premier beer tasting event will be able to sample beer from nearly 20 Oklahoma breweries, including: American Solera, Angry Scotsman Brewing, Anthem Brewing, Bricktown Brewery, COOP Ale Works, Enid Brewing Co., Iron Monk Brewing Co., Kochendorfer Brewing Co., Legally Brewed, Lively Beerworks, Madhopper Brewing, Marshall Brewing Co., Pearl Beach Brew Pub, Prairie Artisan Ales, Roughtail Brewing Co., Skydance Brewing, Sleeping Dogs Brewing, and Stonecloud Brewing Co. Oklahoma Soda Co. will also be on site serving non-alcoholic drinks.

"It is a privilege to be the 2024 Vice Chair of Oklahoma Born & Brewed, especially since this year mark’s our 10th anniversary of this amazing event," says Tanner Hanstein of the Oklahoma Hall of Fame's young professionals board. "Collaborating with vendors, corporations, and breweries from across the state will make this year’s event one to remember. I hope people attend to help celebrate Oklahoma’s story, its young professionals, and 10 years of Oklahoma beer!"

Attendees can expect an elevated experience for the 10th year, with the event being held both inside and outside the Gaylord-Pickens Museum. Simple|Modern has donated special 10th anniversary tumblers for every attendee. Additionally, there will be live music, a silent auction, complimentary valet parking, a photo booth, a video booth, and catered food.

For the third year in a row, a special release beer is being created specifically for the event. Marshall, Skydance, and Roughtail breweries have collaborated to make a 2024 version of "Hops of Fame", the annual Oklahoma Born & Brewed beer. This year, the beer is a West Coast Pilsner. The can is being designed by Choctaw Nation Master Artist, DG Smalling. Hops of Fame may be sampled at Oklahoma Born & Brewed and will be available for purchase on draught and in cans at all three tap rooms.

"Oklahoma Born & Brewed brings together two of my favorite things in Oklahoma: beer and the Oklahoma Hall of Fame!" says DG Smalling. "It is an excellent thing that OHOF continues to adapt to generational shifts of Oklahomans. Celebrating this way highlights just how small a community we really are, and that it is an asset to our state. Yakoke Chito (Massive Thanks) to OHOF, Roughtail Brewing, Marshall Brewing, and Skydance Brewing for letting me play a part!"

Thank you to the sponsors for helping make this year's event extra special. Presenting Sponsor: American Fidelity Foundation; Platinum Sponsors: Amber Integrated, Cresap Family Foundation, Hilliary Communications, and Simple|Modern.

Sponsorships starting at $400 are still available, and individual tickets are on sale for $150 each as of July 15. Purchasers and attendees must be 21 or older and will be required to provide a valid I.D. at the event. For tickets and more event information, visit www.oklahomahof.com/support/ok-born-brewed.
