Oklahoma Hall of Fame Offers Free Admission, $8,000 Scholarship and Young Professionals Board Opportunities

OKLAHOMA CITY - OCTOBER 8, 2026: The Oklahoma Hall of Fame | Gaylord-Pickens Museum will host several events this October. Guests can visit the Museum for free on Saturday, October 10 for Second OHOF Saturday and October 14-16 for Fall Y'all. The deadline to apply for the Oklahoma Hall of Fame Scholarship is Friday, October 16, and applications for the Oklahoma Hall of Fame Second Century Board of young professionals are due Sunday, October 18.
Second OHOF Saturday Provides Monthly Free Family Fun
The Oklahoma Hall of Fame | Gaylord-Pickens Museum offers free admission and crafts for its Second OHOF Saturday event. On Saturday, October 10 the Museum will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. offering a harvest-themed craft and the chance to learn about this month's featured Oklahoma Hall of Fame Member, Paul Allen. Second OHOF Saturday takes place every month, providing free family fun for guests of all ages. Information can be found on the Oklahoma Hall of Fame's website here.
Fall Y'all Offers Free Family Fun Over Fall Break

This Fall Break, the Oklahoma Hall of Fame will host its annual Fall Y'all free family fun program. The Museum will offer free admission Wednesday, October 14 through Friday, October 16 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. The program features fall-themed activities, including crafts, games, and story time. Each day includes its own unique theme, and pumpkin painting will be offered in the courtyard all three days. Themes for this year's Fall Y'all include:
- "What a Circus!" on Wednesday, October 14
- "Let's Book It" on Thursday, October 15
- "Running Wild" on Friday, October 16
Fall Y'all is specifically geared toward children ages 3-8, but it is entertaining for kids and adults of all ages. Information can be found on the Oklahoma Hall of Fame's website here.
Upcoming Deadline for Oklahoma Hall of Fame Scholarship

The deadline for Oklahoma high school seniors to apply for the Oklahoma Hall of Fame Scholarship is Friday, October 16, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. This $8,000 scholarship is awarded annually to one high school senior who currently attends an Oklahoma public, private, charter, or homeschool and has committed to attend an Oklahoma college or university.
The recipient is selected based on their academic achievement, civic involvement, volunteerism, and extracurricular activities. Students must complete and submit a packet that includes an application, a letter by the student to the Selection Committee, a copy of the student's ACT/SAT scores, a high school transcript, and at least one letter of recommendation. The scholarship winner will be recognized at the Oklahoma Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in Oklahoma City on Thursday, November 12.

Applications for Oklahoma Hall of Fame Second Century Board Closing Soon

Applications to join the Oklahoma Hall of Fame Second Century Board are due for submission by Sunday, October 18, 2026. The Second Century Board is a young professionals board dedicated to supporting the mission and programs of the Oklahoma Hall of Fame. Its members put on the annual Oklahoma Born & Brewed fundraiser and host outreach events throughout the year. Applicants must be 40 years of age or younger at their time of selection.
